Membership in The County Choraliers
The County Choraliers is always looking for new members. Drop by one of our rehearsals and check us out. If you love to sing, you’ll love singing with us.
We rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 505 N. York Rd., Hatboro, PA. Auditions are not required to join. We begin our Fall Season right after Labor Day with concerts from mid-November to mid-December. After a break for the holidays, we start up again after New Year’s Day, practicing for our performances from April to May. We then take the summer off.
Our repertoire spans all varieties of choral music, including light classical, pop, folk, spiritual, holiday, rock, contemporary, and Broadway. The County Choraliers’ mission is to challenge each other to new heights in performing choral music, to entertain and uplift audiences through our performances, and to have fun.
Member involvement is key to the success of The County Choraliers. Responsibilities include the following:
Attending as many rehearsals as possible.
Paying member dues which are currently $35 per season. Dues help cover the cost of new music and other expenses.
Providing your own concert attire. We have recently been trying to keep our attire somewhat informal.
Members are provided with a formal black folder and music for each season.
We ask all members to encourage as many people as possible to attend our concerts and to help recruit new members.
